At AllyO, we often integrate with our customer systems in order to provide a seamless workflow. One such system is an Applicant Tracking Systems or ATS. They are utilized by employers to support reporting and controls for compliance. Compliance tools are not really built for a great applicant experience. Their job is to reduce liability and risk for an employer and enable recruiters to manage their workflows. Conversely, AllyO is not an ATS. The ideal solution is for AllyO to integrate with Taleo such that all candidate workflow data is available and managed through Taleo. This requires an API integration with Taleo and if you go to Oracle, this is not straightforward. The data model is complex, the workflows are complex, the API is a SOAP API that requires more effort to develop and maintain. Hence, Oracle does not allow just anyone to integrate with their system.
At AllyO, we spent the last few months and developed this integration with one of our key customers. Furthermore, we have joined the Oracle PartnerNetwork as a Gold member. This will allow us to deliver a repeatable integration with Taleo and other Oracle products. The result is that the recruiting team at our customer is broadly adopting AllyO across their organization since they can now manage AllyO and Taleo in one seamless workflow.
